Integrated Social CRM via Jive/Salesforce Connection
Appirio has announced a series of CloudWorks-powered Jive applications that will integrate critical business information from Salesforce CRM with the collaboration capabilities of Jive Social Business Software for joint sales and customer service.
The first of these applications improves sales productivity by allowing collaborative selling. Sales teams can work together with employees from across the entire company to close sales opportunities more easily.
Appirio’s collaborative sales app is now available to Jive 5 beta customers and will be available to the broader Jive community in the Jive Apps Market once Jive 5 is generally available.
SVP of business development at Jive, Chris Morace, says Jive 5 and Jive Apps Market are designed to bring unprecedented innovation and value to the Social Business Software user through the introduction of consumer and business applications for the enterprise.
Morace also said customers want to use Jive to collaborate using information from all of their business applications and they’re excited that Appirio’s series of Jive Apps will bring Salesforce and Jive’s Social Business Software together for the first time.
The collaborative sales app will deliver important CRM data directly inside a salesperson’s Jive homepage built on the Jive 5 Apps Framework, using both Salesforce and Jive platforms.
CTO of Appirio, Glenn Weinstein, says Appirio’s CloudWorks provides underlying broker technology that brings cloud platforms together, giving customers a way to decrease information silos and multiply the value of their existing investments.
Weinstein added that CloudWorks already brings together Google Apps and Salesforce CRM and they’re excited to now have an offering for Jive customers as well.
Sales teams now have an easy way to share details about opportunities they are pursuing with others in a company by tapping into the wisdom of crowds.
