Jaspersoft Recognized for Business Intelligence
The maker of the most widely used business intelligence software in the world, Jaspersoft, was just named by Gartner to its 2010 Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms. The decision was made by Gartner analysts who evaluated Jaspersoft Enterprise Edition version 3.7 and decided to include them in the list.
Jaspersoft CEO, Brian Gentile, says they believe inclusion in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms is a testament to the breadth and scope of their open source Business Intelligence solutions.
Gentile is happy to receive recognition from such a respected analyst group and he expects Jaspersoft to continue to produce award-winning, innovative technology.
Jaspersoft has revamped its award-winning suite with the release of Jaspersoft 4. They did so just after being named to the Magic Quadrant.
The new Jaspersoft 4 features a completely web-based architecture and a customizable GUI that makes embedding reports easier for Business Intelligence builders, or those developers, IT or business managers who have to create the analytics and solutions to embed with web applications.
Jaspersoft 4 also connects with Big Data systems such as Hadoop, NoSQL and MPP analytic databases. This makes them the first and only native reporting offering for any Big Data system.
Gartner Magic Quadrants are a compilation of research in a specific market to provide a wide-angle view of the relative positions of the market’s competitors. The Quadrant evaluates vendors on their thoroughness of vision and their ability to execute.
Jaspersoft provides flexible, cost effective open source business intelligence software that enables better decision making through highly interactive, web based reports, dashboard and analysis. They have more than 12 million product downloads worldwide in over 100 countries.
