About Necto

Necto is a “socially enabled” business intelligence solution, allowing users to track not only the business data collected, but interdepartmental conversations occurring over the BI system itself. By tracking and analyzing those conversations, the platform provides suggestions on possible collaborations between team members.

Comments made in the BI system are integrated as metadata attached to the intelligence being discussed. Team members are able to share data and figures in real-time between different departments, streamlining the process for any operation from identifying and remedying a sales shortfall to tracking inventory. The platform focuses on pulling insights from the “dark data,” or the 90 percent of data which usually goes ignored and automatically pushes those insights.
