Umbrella is web security software that facilitates all provisioning, management and reporting activities. The platform allows users to add new networks, locations and devices through a cloud-managed dashboard, and is designed to not add latency to internet communications when system is expanded.

The software utilizes DNS to protect against threats over all ports and protocols, and is equipped with an intelligent proxy functionality. Additionally, the platform prevents connections to uninfected devices, stops data exfiltration and the execution of ransomware encryption.
