About JReport

As a Java Swing-based report design tool, JReport Designer produces sophisticated reports design and presentation of critical business data from a variety of data sources, including: JDBC/ODBC compliant data bases, XML, flat files, Web services, Java objects and Database.com. The Chart Wizard in Designer enables developers to deliver interactive, actionable charts for end users to perform data analysis. The report components can display information from any data source and reports can access multiple data sources simultaneously.

Developers can use intuitive Wizards to guide them through selecting data sources, creating queries and designing layouts. Additionally, the design tool provides CSS style support allowing CSS style sheets to be applied at run time to custom format reports for users. Users can deliver views of disparate data in a single report. Additionally, the “View DUring Design” option enables designers to preview the exact report output at any point during the design process.
