About Apache CloudStack

Apache CloudStack is open source Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud computing software that enables users to offer public, on-premise and hybrid cloud services. The platform is a turnkey solution that includes a full stack of features including computer orchestration, Network-as-a-Service, user and account management, a full and open native API, and resource accounting including network, computing and storage.

The software is designed to support VMware, KVM, Citrix XenServer, Xen Cloud Platform (XCP), Oracle VM server and Microsoft Hyper-V hypervisors. Additionally, the platform orchestrates network services from the data link layer (L2) to some application layer (L7) services including DHCP, NAT, firewall and VPN.
