About BigBlueButton
BigBlueButton is learning management through web conference software designed to support online learning, student engagement and remote students. The platform is equipped with real-time sharing tools for audio, video, slides, chat and screens, as well as student engagement tools including emojis, polling and breakout rooms.
The software integrates with existing learning management systems including Instructure, Schoology, Jenzabar and D2L through native integration, as well as through plugins for Moodle and Sakai. Additionally, the platform open source to support development teams and enable customizaton, is equipped with a live whiteboard tools for presenters and groups, and supports unlimited webcams in order to support as many students as necessary within a single learning session.
