A leader in technology consulting and operations for over 20 years, Jim Swafford’s expertise encompasses all phases of professional services from startup companies to internationally recognized organizations. Prior to joining FieldAware, Swafford served as a senior logistics officer for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) where he managed over $1 billion in services annually.
Previous to NATO, Swafford led a professional service organization at Business Engine Software where he was responsible for delivering software implementation services to large, multi-national corporations throughout North America and Asia. A major part of the services organization was a solution center that developed custom software utilizing domestic and offshore resources enabling a follow-the-sun delivery model. Swafford has also led software professional service teams at Serena Software, a leading Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) vendor, and i2 Technologies. Swafford holds a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
