Proxy Networks technology and products were originally developed by Funk Software, which delivered the first Proxy remote control products over a decade ago for the Windows NT platform. In late 2005, Funk Software was acquired by Juniper Networks. Proxy Networks acquired the Proxy product line and technology from Juniper in mid-2006.
Proxy products include PROXY/Pro and PROXY/Enterprise, the leading remote control/access solution for help desk managers, network administrators and outsourced service providers. The company also offers PROXY/ScreenRecording, which, along with a versatile software developer kit, allows leading vendors to integrate the company’s real-time screen recording/playback, remote control and remote display technologies into their solutions for call centers, helpdesks, desktop management, and control room applications.
Today, about 2,500 customers use Proxy software on millions of desktops to centralize management by allowing a user from a PC to access and control other PCs or servers on a LAN or WAN or across the Internet.
