FreeAgent is small business accounting software designed to support small and micro businesses, freelancers and small business accountants. The platform enables users to set up automated recurring invoices and payment reminders, manages expenses through receipt image capture capabilities and expense management categories, and provides users with visibility into multiple project aspects such as invoices, estimates, expenses, tasks and time management.
The software connects to the user’s online bank account in order to automatically input transactions and ensure accounts are up-to-date, provides users with a library of estimate and invoice templates, and is equipped with built-in time tracking tools such as stopwatches and time sheets. Additionally, the platform provides users with a dashboard for monitoring cash flows and tax bill due dates, and enables users to send estimates to customers via email, as well as tracks whether the estimate is approved or rejected.
