About Axway MailGate SC

Axway MailGate SC is email security software designed to protect company networks while facilitating collaboration on both desktop computers and mobile devices. The platform prevents damaging messages, attachments and internet-based threats from accessing company networks, works to ensure that sensitive information doesn’t leave the system either accidentally or unsecured, and is equipped with policy-based content filtering systems.

The software automatically encrypts user data, provides access to the optional Axway DropZone file sharing tool, and enables users to define and apply universally enforced security policies. Additionally, the platform converts MS Office attachments into password-protected, locked, and watermarked PDF files, decrypts and inspects S/MIME-encrypted emails, and validates digital signatures via Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP).
