Sherman Hsieh

Founder and CEO

Sherman Hsieh is founder and CEO of Business-Software.com. Prior to founding Business-Software.com, Sherman was a marketing executive with Siebel Systems. During his nine year tenure, he oversaw the web marketing strategy, execution, and operations as well as online lead generation. His group’s online lead generation programs delivered over $3 billion in sales pipeline during Sherman’s tenure at Siebel. Sherman was named the Top Lead Generator at Siebel and a member of the Siebel Founder’s Circle (highest professional distinction at Siebel). He has also held marketing and engineering positions with Oracle Corporation and Intelsat. Sherman graduated from UC Berkeley where he studied computer science and economics.

Philamn Lau

Vice President of Technology

Philamn Lau is Vice President of Technology at Business-Software.com. He directs all engineering and technical integration and operation activities. Prior to Business-Software.com, Philamn served as a lead architect at TransUnion Interactive, where he was responsible for leading development and technical strategy efforts for Bank of America’s online banking marketing engine, which serviced 6 million users daily. Philamn also held engineering positions with uBid.com and Giant Step (now Arc Worldwide). Philamn holds a Bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where he majored in computer science.

Deniz Kuypers

Director, Research Program

Deniz Kuypers, Director, Research Program at Business-Software.com, worked for years in Sales and Marketing, managing Global 2000 accounts in the area of financial automation. Responsible for lead generation, contract negotiation, and the development and execution of marketing strategies, Deniz was awarded Salesman of the Quarter and Salesman of the Year awards by ReadSoft in multiple years, and later successfully created a $10M+ pipeline while managing partner relations for San Francisco-based start-up Taulia. Deniz holds a Master’s degree in English from San Francisco State University.
