Business-Software.com seeks a driven, creative and productive individual to join our marketing team as a full-time member. Our Content Marketing Associate will have ample experience writing original content for blogs and other company assets, as well as undertaking diverse marketing tasks.

Position requirements: The Content Marketing Associate must have experience writing for a corporate blog and/or creating company marketing materials. He or she is comfortable working with clients to develop unique content and maintain existing site content. The Content Marketing Associate is adept at managing a variety of marketing tasks simultaneously. To fit with this team, this person must be willing to wear multiple hats in order meet the needs of the company. This is a full-time, in-house position at our San Mateo office. Salary DOE.

Our ideal candidate:

• Is a recent college graduate with a degree in Marketing, English, Communications or similar
• Has a positive attitude with a healthy sense of humor
• Can easily craft engaging and informative articles on tight deadlines
• Can craft engaging and informative articles with ease
• Is comfortable researching and reporting on unfamiliar software-related subjects
• Has exceptional task and time management skills
• Takes initiative and follows through with project deadlines
• Seeks a combination of individual and collaborative projects
• Has the ability to assess, prioritize and shift focus with ease
• Must love dogs

Highly desired skills:

• The ability to think both creatively and critically while problem-solving
• Experience designing branded assets, ie: infographics, ads, reports and web content
• Familiarity with the technology or software industries
• Familiarity with Google Apps, InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator

We’re a marketing company in the software industry looking for interns to assist with developing content for a variety of marketing projects. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting original blog posts and other marketing assets, as well as maintaining our database of 4000+ software products.

Hours can be flexible, and we’re open to arranging internship hours that work around your school schedule. This is a paid position on-site at our San Mateo office.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• An adequate writer interested in continuing to develop your writing skills
• Comfortable researching unfamiliar subjects
• Well organized and able to manage multiple projects
• Familiar with Google Apps
• Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred, but not required
